Video editing may seem super intimidating. And I admit, there is a learning curve, but it is a skill you can master with a little patience and some Googling.
Now if we are talking an anthem video for your business's 20th anniversary celebration - by all means hire a professional! But if you need videos for IGTV, Facebook, Reels or TikTok, I have a few editors that you can learn pretty easily.
For videos that you would use to make IG Reels or TikTok I love the app CapCut. CapCut is a free (yes, free!) app available for Apple and Android. CapCut has a great selection of free audio, fun text templates, stickers, filters, and effects. You can cut, reverse and change the speed of your videos, or record a voiceover - you really can do so much with this app! CapCut is really user-friendly and easy to learn. It also allows you to import your own music into CapCut, so if you want to use the week's trending song in your video you totally can.
If you are looking for a more formal, or longer format video then I love, love...love, love, love Movavi Video Editor Plus! I tried Adobe Premiere Pro, and while I am sure it has all the bells and whistles you could ever want in a video editing program, I was so intimidated by the interface. When I came across Movavi and downloaded the free trial, I knew I could learn this. With the help of Movavi's How-To page and some YouTube tutorials, I was editing videos with confidence in no time!
Movavi is not a free video editing program, but it is affordable. With a program like Adobe Premiere Pro, you'll have to pay a monthly subscription for as long as you have the program. With Movavi Video Editor Plus you pay around $65 one time, and the software will prompt you to update with no additional cost!
Movavi Video Editor Plus offers:
Simple user interface
Free music selections
Text and titles
and even Audio Synchronization!
If you've talked yourself out of using video in your marketing strategy because you didn't think you had the money, time or skill to edit them, I strongly recommend you check out CapCut and Movavi Video Editor Plus!
